Four bedrooms on a corner plot in Río Real, quiet but five minutes from Marbella old town. The entrance level is one open room — kitchen, dining and living — with picture windows that fold back on two sides so the interior and the 150-square-metre terrace become a single space. In July and August that is the whole point of the house.

The pool is saltwater, twelve and a half metres by four, with an infinity edge and optional heating. The terrace has a chill-out lounge, a wood-topped dining table, a row of sunbeds and a BBQ. There is a ping-pong table, and the garden and pool look out toward the sea and the hills behind Marbella.

One bedroom is on the entrance level and three above. The downstairs bedroom and the upstairs master are both en-suite with terrace access; the other two share a bathroom, and one has a bunk with a double at the base, so the house sleeps nine without anyone on a sofa. Underfloor heating throughout, alarm, air conditioning and gated parking for two cars. Río Real golf and the beach clubs at Trocadero Arena and Opium are walkable; La Cañada and the old town are five minutes by car.
