About this villa

A contemporary six-bedroom house on the hillside above Nueva Andalucía. Glass doors run the full height of the living space and fold back onto the terraces, so in summer the distinction between inside and outside effectively disappears.

The layout is open-plan and bright: designer kitchen, lounge and dining area all opening the same way, onto a private pool and several separate seating areas. Each bedroom has been given its own terrace access or a view over the hills.

The room that sells it is the cinema, which has its own bar and enough seating that the whole party fits. Twelve guests, complete privacy, and ten minutes down the hill to Puerto Banús when you want the opposite of privacy.

The setting is worth understanding before you book. It sits behind Nueva Andalucía on the Benahavís side, wrapped around a golf course, high enough that the summer evenings stay cool and quiet. You are twenty minutes from the beach and five from a supermarket, which is the trade most groups are happy to make once they have spent an August night at sea level.
