Frontline beach in Elviria, five metres from the sand. Not a sea view from a hill: the terrace gives onto the beach itself, so the pool, the loungers and the dining table all sit above the waterline. The house runs over four floors connected by an interior lift, with six double bedrooms, several with their own sea-facing terraces, and a master suite with a jacuzzi bath.

The main floor is an open-plan kitchen, dining and living room folding out onto the terrace and the private pool, which can be heated on request. There is a separate lounge that seats sixteen comfortably, fibre internet, Sonos through the house, air conditioning controlled room by room and underfloor heating everywhere. Seven televisions, if that matters to your group.

The roof terrace is 150 square metres and does most of the work in summer: an eight-seat jacuzzi, a bar and BBQ, an exercise area and a 360-degree view over the sea and the mountains behind. Elviria has good beaches and a run of well-regarded chiringuitos within walking distance; Marbella and Puerto Banús are west, Fuengirola ten minutes east. From April to October the house runs Saturday to Saturday on a one-week minimum.
